Dr. David Rabiner is a Senior Research Scientist in the Center for Child and Family Policy at Duke University. He received his Ph.D. in clinical child psychology from Duke in 1987 and then joined the faculty at UNC-Greensboro before returning to Duke in 1999. 

* Dr. Rabiner is a founding member of the Advisory Board of Stress Free ADHD, and  advised in its development

Dr. Rabiner's research on children's social development has been published in leading psychology and medical journals and presented at national and international meetings. He has served as a consultant on two federally funded grants on AD/HD and worked with numerous primary care physicians to help them improve the care they provide to children with AD/HD.

Dr. Rabiner has acted as an investigator on an NIMH grant to help pediatricians implement evidence-based procedures for the assessment and treatment of AD/HD. In 1997, he began writing Attention Research Update, an online newsletter available at www.helpforadd.com that helps over 25,000 parents and professionals stay informed about new research on AD/HD. Dr. Rabiner is a member of the Professional Advisory Board of CHADD.
